Last year, I was in Lebanon. I came to the UK for the actual Christmas holiday, using frequent flier miles to surprise my parents, but otherwise I was in Lebanon. Except for New Years, which was spent in Rwanda at a posh star hotel on the banks of Lake Kivu. OK, so I guess that was a travel-filled holiday; I think I counted 6 cities across 5 countries in a 24-hour period.
